About the font:
In an attempt to incorporate meinto my work, and to accomplish a goal of designing a pattern system, I designed a set of abstract tiles representing who I am and the roles I play in my life.
 
I began with a set of rules: use a 3x3 grid system, exit the tile at eight predertimed points, only use straight line paths and quarter circle paths to connect the points inside the tile. After a couple rounds of sketching I recreated the designs, and several more in Adobe Illustrator. As a true designer would, I ended up creating several versions for each personal characteristic. Some designs I knew exactly how I wanted the end result to look while others I started drawing lines and curves and ended up with something completely unexpected
